Taproot Awards

The heart of the Arthur Market is small businesses and side hustles. We love supporting, promoting, and collaborating with area business owners. We love celebrating with them. We love bragging up on them. Without these incredibly talented and passionate people, the Arthur Market would not exist. In 2022, we created the Arthur Market Taproot Award as a small way to recognize those vendors that have been committed to our market events and our community.

Why did we choose "taproot" as the title of this award? As trees begin to grow, they send down a long, central root called the taproot, and this root provides strength, stability, and nourishment. In the same vein, the vendors that are committed to the Arthur Market season after season, provide strength, stability, and nourishment to our events. We are who we are because of them.
